Clovi understands the unique needs of the health screening industry and has come up with a fair accounting method. Screening companies can purchase Clovi Credits (or simply Credits) to store data on Clovi's servers.
Clovi sells four types of credits:
1. Measurement Credits - for storing PHI
2. Appointment Credits - for appointments
3. Flu Credits - for flu shots
4. Assessment Credits - for assessments/questionnaires
Measurement Credits
A Clovi Credit is defined as a Measurement object within Clovi's database that meets ALL four conditions:
a) The Measurement object includes at least one saved biomarker (e.g. cholesterol, BMI, etc), and
b) The Measurement object is associated with a particular Event, and
d) The email domain of the Participant associated to the Measurement is NOT @mailinator.com,
e) The email of the Participant object associated to the Measurement object is NOT one of screening company's employees’ email entered in Account Staff View.
At the end of each day, Clovi will run an accrual model, counting number of Measurement objects that have measured_at timestamp within the beginning and end of that day. We also run a rolling accrual model, and account for measurements that were added retroactively but have a recent measured_at column. We have checks in place to avoid double-counting errors.
To understand the definitions, let's consider a few use cases:
Use Case 1: 100 participants signed for an event, and 60 were screened on June 6, 2018
At the end of day June 6, 2018, Clovi accrual model runs. The model identifies 60 Measurement objects that a) have at least one biomarker, b) are in an event, c) all participants had valid emails, and d) all participants were not test employees. Because measured_at is set to June 6, 2018, Clovi accrual model will subtract 60 credits from your account.
Use Case 3: 100 participants signed for an event, and 30 were screened on June 6, 2018 and 10 were screened on June 10, 2018.
At the end of day June 6, 2018, Clovi accrual model runs. The model identifies 30 Measurement objects that a) have at least one biomarker, b) are in an event, c) all participants had valid emails, and d) all participants were not test employees. Because measured_at is set to June 6, 2018, Clovi accrual model will subtract 30 credits from your account. Clovi accrual model will run June 7, June 8, June 9 and does NOT subtract any credits. At the end of day June 10, 2018, Clovi accrual model runs and subtracts 10 credits from your account.
Appointment Credits
An Appointment Credit on date MMDDYYY is defined as an Appointment object within Clovi's database that meets ALL conditions:
a) The Appointment object exists near midnight of MMDDYYY, and
b) The Appointment object is associated with a particular Event, and
d) The email domain of the Participant associated to the Measurement is NOT @mailinator.com,
e) The email of the Participant object associated to the Measurement object is NOT one of screening company's employees’ email entered in Account Staff View.
At the end of each day, Clovi will run an accrual model, counting number of objects within the beginning and end of that day.
To understand the definitions, let's consider a few use cases:
Use Case 1: 100 participants sign for an event, and 50 chose an appointment on June 6, 2018
At the end of day June 6, 2018, Clovi accrual model runs. The model identifies 50 Appointment objects that a) are in an event, b) all participants had valid emails, and c) all participants were not test employees. Clovi's accrual model will subtract 50 credits from your account.
Use Case 2: 100 participants signed for a multi-day event, and 10 had an appointment on June 6, 2018 and 90 had an appointment on June 10, 2018.
At the end of day June 6, 2018, Clovi accrual model runs. The model identifies 10 objects, and subtracts 10 credits from your account. Clovi accrual model will run June 7, June 8, June 9 and does NOT subtract any credits. At the end of day June 10, 2018, Clovi accrual model runs and subtracts 90 credits from your account.
Flu Credits
A Flu Credit on date MMDDYYY is defined as an Measurement object within Clovi's database that meets ALL conditions:
a) The Measurement object includes at least one saved entry for vaccine-related data: injection site, vaccine manufacturer, lot number and/or vaccine name, and
b) The Measurement object is associated with a particular Event, and
d) The email domain of the Participant associated to the Measurement is NOT @mailinator.com,
e) The email of the Participant object associated to the Measurement object is NOT one of screening company's employees’ email entered in Account Staff View.
At the end of each day, Clovi will run an accrual model, counting number of objects within the beginning and end of that day.
Assessment Credits
A Flu Credit on date MMDDYYY is defined as an Assessment object within Clovi's database that meets ALL conditions:
a) The Assessment object includes at least one answer to a question in the assessment, and
b) The Measurement object is associated with a particular Event, and
d) The email domain of the Participant associated to the Measurement is NOT @mailinator.com,
e) The email of the Participant object associated to the Measurement object is NOT one of screening company's employees’ email entered in Account Staff View.
At the end of each day, Clovi will run an accrual model, counting number of objects within the beginning and end of that day.
